What a superb inter-house football final, played out in front of a sizeable audience of parents, staff and pupils on a beautiful Atumn afternoon!  It was a close run thing all the way, with Gaudi House getting the better of the first half and Churchill House coming back to level the score in the second half at 2-2.  The two teams then played five minutes of extra time, with both goal keepers, Gonzalo de La Puerta Fernandez for Churchill and Charlie Hunt for Gaudi, pulling off a string of fine saves to keep the scores locked on two each.  So to another penalty shoot out.  Poor Churchill had lost out in the Secondary final on a penalty shoot out that went to a sudden death shoot out between the two goalkeepers.  This time it was a little more straight forward with Gaudi´s superior dead ball finishing ensuring they ran out 3-1 winners, with one penalty to spare.  Well done to both teams for making it such a fantastic and much more exciting match than the England versus Spain match the following day!
