Dear Parents

Just a short letter this week, although I do know you will shortly receive our monthly newsletter.  I really enjoyed the opening of the Art Gallery, helping our school become a centre of culture.  I do encourage you to come and see for yourself over the next few weeks.  It was also great to chat with some parents at the coffee morning and we will certainly take many of your suggestions seriously.  I do encourage parents to come to the next coffee morning on 13^th March. One of the suggestions there was to form a fundraising committee for the school to raise money for charity and school improvement.  I am delighted that Mr Steve Rice, father of Adam in Year 2, has agreed to head up a school fund raising committee.  Meetings will be in both Spanish and English so it is important that we have both Spanish and parents of other nationalities on the committee.  If you are interested in getting involved then please put your name forward to Carlos or Sally on reception.

VALENTINE´S DISCO, FRIDAY 10^TH FEBRUARY 2012

We will have our annual St. Valentine´s evening disco on 10^th February.  We will start with the Primary Disco at 5pm for all Year 3 to Year 6.  This will run until 7pm.  It will be followed by a Secondary disco between 7.15pm and 9pm for Years 7 to 11.  A contribution of €2.50 is necessary to confirm attendance.  Please give it to your class teacher or tutor.  This covers the cost of food, drink and the DJ.  I hope many pupils can attend because it should make for a great fun evening.
