Dear Parents,

It was a great first week of term and students seemed to settle down very quickly.  This week the term really gets under way with Secondary School parents meetings and the Primary School Inter-House Basketball.

ACTIVITIES

We have been disappointed by the response to our activities programme, which is due to start next Monday.  This is undoubtedly due partially to the fact that many left early and did not take the activities lists with them.  Others have clearly mislaid them over Christmas.  I therefore once again attach the activities list with this letter and would ask that any choices are returned to form tutors/class teachers by the following day, 19^th January 2011.  Activities begin next Monday, so it is imperative that we get any requests as quickly as possible. You will also shortly be able to see the activities information on the website, in one of the drop down menus.

PARENTS MEETINGS

I apologise for my faux pas in giving you somewhat inaccurate dates for the parents meetings coming up.  A reminder though that the Primary School (Years 3 to 5) Parents´ Meetings will be as in the calendar, on 24^th and 25^th January respectively at 3.15pm.
