Dear Parents,

First of all can I apologise for the lateness of the reports for Years 1 to 10.  They were meant to be completed by today, but I am afraid, despite our best efforts, the new format posed more problems than we had hoped.  I hope, nevertheless, that you will find them considerably more informative than the previous reports.  While Primary reports come together with an effort and attainment grade, Secondary ones only have an effort grade this time.  Next term on the back of examinations, you will see more detailed reports still.  I hope you find them both informative and helpful.

Secondly, can I just stress that we have already had some superb events this week, with a concert and Inter-House Drama on Monday, a trip to see ´Oliver´ on Tuesday, alongside a victorious outing for the Under 15 Football Team on the same day and with auditions for our school play - ´The Wizard of Oz´ -  today.  We look forward to more football matches tomorrow, as well as, most of all, our Easter Fayre.

EASTER FAYRE- A NOTE FROM MRS WOOD

Just a quick reminder about the Easter Fayre, which is on Thursday 14th April.  Children must be collected from their classrooms by 2pm to then be accompanied to the Easter Fayre where they can take part in lots of exciting activities.  Tokens can be purchased beforehand or on the day at a cost of 50 cents from myself or Mrs Dearing.  Most activities require just one token to take part.  Don´t forget the Easter hat for the bonnet parade, which is due to take place at 4pm.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REQUIRED – SCHOOL BUSES 14TH APRIL

It is essential that you inform us if your child is not travelling home on the school bus at the end of school on 14th April.  Please could you either e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or telephone Carlos on 968032500 or Alex on 96803319 to confirm  this.

END OF TERM AND BEGINNING OF NEXT TERM

A reminder that the term ends on Friday at 2.30pm.  Buses will travel at this time, with children available to be picked up from 2.15pm.  As previously mentioned next term starts at 9.15am on Wednesday 27th April.

SUMMER UNIFORM

Next term all children should come in the Summer Uniform.  You will find the uniform list attached to this letter as a reminder.  The Summer Uniform regulations will be in place until the end of October.

Finally I would like to congratulate all our superb pupils and staff for the way they have conducted themselves in such a long and ´breathless´ term and thank our parents for supporting both the children and the staff day in and day out.  I hope you all have a superb Easter together with your children.  I look forward to welcoming all the pupils back for a short, but action packed term.  You will see on the website calendar many of the activities we have in store for the term; most important of all is the examinations the children have!

Best wishes
Robin Silk
