Dear Parents,

I hope you are well and some of you enjoyed the Inter-House Football Final on Friday.  I am sorry I have not been able to greet you on the gate over the past few days, but I have been interviewing for Key Stage 1 teachers in the UK.  I am now stuck in the UK until Thursday as the air traffic controllers strike in France has led to my original return flight being cancelled.  In the meantime I know the school is in good hands, with Loren Dearing deputising for me in my absence and I am in contact with all the key leaders in the school and King’s Group.  I look forward to returning to the fray and pushing the school forward now I have my feet under the desk.  I will be in school at the end of the day on Thursday afternoon and look forward to greeting many of you on the gate on Friday.  Enjoy the fiesta day on Tuesday.
